I Don’t Vote (and this is why)

I’m 25, and I have never voted for all of the reasons you have stated here. A lot of politicians are dirty. The two parties that always get elected for president never fully capture my views on either the republican or democrat side. There’s always going to be policies you like and don’t like on both the republican and democratic side. Many people who get extremely interested in the republican and/or democratic parties blindly, ignorantly, and viciously hate on each other, rather than looking at the pros and cons of both parties, and promoting a neutral system to combine the pros together. The electoral college often ignores the will of the people. I hate how so many people get so worked up about politics to the point that they let it ruin their chances to have relationships with other people, simply because they voted Republican or Democrat. I hate how so many people have looked down on me when I say that I don’t care to vote, which is why I rarely ever bring it up now, unless prompted, and then I feel judged.
