The “eat less meat” movement is growing. Does it distort science?

Looks like a meat lobby piece with little to do with science and the same types of spin as a PETA lobby piece. The facts are that yes livestock are a leading cause of methane and climate change is happening. People always just immediately go into this team/pack mentality like one side is going to outlaw the other, which is just unrealistic for both sides. Why is it a bad thing for vegans to convince others en masse to voluntarily become vegan?

Their abstinence from meat offsets some of the greenhouse gasses for ketoers; and the more people who become vegan, the probability of meat consumption becoming involuntarily restricted becomes even smaller. Seems like a win-win to me and the planet.
