Without butyrates for energy, colon cells undergo autophagy (self digestion) and die.

I don't cater to skeptics. You could fire a cannon next to their ear and they wouldn't hear it, because it doesn't meet their definition of "cannon fire".

The intelligent have heard my words, it has certainly being a controversial topic that will continue to make waves. Until those no fiber people tell us how they are getting butyric acid to their colon cells, it's all just wasted words. They can't prove it, hence the controversy.

One of the papers in the comment I linked your username to specifically refutes your claim - groups that ate cereal grains had no difference in colorectal cancer, and it was NON-fructan-rich fruits and vegetables that showed the greatest difference. This was one of the papers you claimed to have done a critical review on. Do you understand why people may not take you seriously?

Yeah, the same sort of studies entirely convinced people that fat was bad, and entire generations of human beings grew up and got sick on those diets.

Great studies. They are worth less than the paper they are printed on.

Without butyrates for energy, colon cells undergo autophagy (self digestion) and die.

That's a real study with real meat and bones on it. Dealing with the actual mechanics of how it works.

As opposed to these garbage studies that "took two seconds to find" and I'm supposed to spend all day critically analyzing...

It's a joke honestly.

Leave that to people who want to debate if wine is good for their heart or not, and all the back and forth papers on that topic. I'm trying to discuss something important, and not one person has stepped up to suggest and point how they are getting butyric acid to their colon cells.
