Is Emilia Clarke a franchise killer or is she just bad luck?

I don't understand the negativity, she was good in Me Before You and that movie did pretty well at the box office, most fans of the books loved it, and reading some of the critics, most critics thought her performance and chemistry with Sam helped the movie. She was good in Solo, I've heard many people here in the SW subreddits say they enjoyed Qi'ra's character quite a bit, and even tho that movie didn't do nearly as well as expected at the box office (big part of that is because as we know a lot of SW fans hated The Last Jedi), it received solid critic reviews.

Then she plays Dany in GoT, arguably the most popular show ever, I'll be honest I think she was below average for the first 3 or 4 seasons but she's improved miles, has received 3 Emmy nominations and even tho there's many people that don't like Daenerys, she's one of the most iconic female characters on TV.

The only terrible project she's been in was Terminator and the franchise had been going downhill with Salvation anyway.

I also don't get the "no acting range". Take Daenerys, Qi'ra, Louisa (Me Before You) and Emilia in real life, they're not even close to being similar.
