Employees Are Quitting Instead of Giving Up Working from Home

GOOD. I hope these people find work that supports them and gives them a choice in their work. I've said it time and time and time again to the people who report to me: "work is what you do, not necessarily where you do it".

The more people who are able to wfh should absolutely be speaking up and speaking with their labor for the right to continue working from home.

Reading through the tweet thread at the bottom of the article, people are getting serious about this because let's be real with ourselves:

"there’s also the notion that some bosses, particularly those of a generation less familiar to remote work, are eager to regain tight control"

This is what it's really been about for employers: control and fear. Control over your life by making you fear you'll lose out on your ability to earn a living.

What we need today is workers and laborers realizing they have power in the economy, and far too long employers have taken advantage of depressed wages and lagging employment rights that have only marginally been improved since the 1950's.
