Engage is the only Fire Emblem game I've ever dropped

I'd like to take a moment and say that Engage is by FAR the worse story between it and Fates. The story in Fates is dumb, make no mistake about it, but it at least functions

No. I'm sorry, I've played through Fates Conquest 5+ times and I haven't even managed to go back and beat the last chapter of Engage yet because I just don't care enough, but the stories of Conquest and Revelation fall apart completely under any sort of analysis.

Engage's story is not BY FAR worse than 'We conquered a neighbouring nation because the only way to convince our siblings that Garon is evil is by making him sit in this one chair and it's a real shame Azura showed that one-time-only use crystal ball to Corrin on his own instead of all the siblings at once to spare Hoshido being ground into dust.'

If you enjoyed it, fine, but don't you dare try to tell me it's good.

It isn't good, but don't you dare try to tell me Fates was somehow miles better.
