The point was to clarify what they meant and go from there, plus I threw some information in there that agrees with her. The comment implies that they think it is true. Sometimes it helps to just talk about that stuff to check your own bias.
It is funny to me that people are so upset about my question when we all know what would have happened if someone made a claim like that about men. Would they be as polite as me asking for clarification? I suspect not with the way people can´t seem to behave here.
