I have similar thoughts. I haven’t heard any of his original songs (didn’t know he had any), but I was always curious about how they would sound/if they would have much substance. Yea no one wants to drive to work listening to random Omegle bars lol I’m sure he could write some pretty good stuff, especially with a good producer tho. The guy sounds smart and I’m sure he could write some deep, meaningful, insightful, political, and otherwise complex lyrics, combined with relatable themes/storytelling; Some of the stuff that makes a good rapper a good rapper.
Most people out there will hear someone rhyming really fast for a few bars and they think it sounds amazing, most people don’t know shit lol they might say Harry Mack is the greatest based off just that. He’s great in this skill set for sure, I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt and say that I’m sure he could write some great songs/albums. I just haven’t seen/heard of any (i know I haven’t looked much) but part of me feels like what see now is pretty much all we will get
