anyone have experience with a professor excessively sending homework reminders about assignments that aren’t due till the next day, sometimes 24 hours?

they aren’t emails they are DIRECT MESSAGES, and he will send close to 4-5 PERSONAL messages to me reminding me about an assignment i already know about. It’s not helpful, and that’s cool, my peers are failing his class, i have an A, so for him to be begging for a submission from me? no it’s literally BEGGING. “PLEASE GET THIS IN ON TIME” like no shit bro i have 20 hours. I been putting up with this all semester. i ignored the first 20 messages now he keeps sending them and it’s stressing me out MORE than if he just minds his business. he’s wasting his breathe and his time..... while stressing me about moreso. He can remind the people failing his class..... not the one with an A that turns everything in. This is ridiculous, the first couple times i just ignored them, then you receive close to 4-5 personal messages about how there’s no submission for an assignment tomorrow. Nope. Be glad you’ve never had to experience this, and if you forget about assignments in college? How are you gunna function in real life? This isn’t highschool. The notification for the assignment is a good enough reminder for me amd probably many others. “forgetting” about an assignment is kind of impossible, unless you REALLY can’t navigate canvas.
