I disagree, I think it will be another Discord/Twitch Store. I think you give it too much credit if you say it's like Origin/Uplay because those are backed by AAA publishers whereas Epic is more like a rising developer.

It'll be really hard to beat Steam for drm / GOG for drm free. I mean just the fact that Steam has everyone's friends/achievements is enough for a very large amount of Steam gamers to not use anything else. I hate Valve so I'd love for Steam to get replaced but I'm also a realist. Aint gonna happen. Just read posts on this subreddit for games that aren't sold as a Steam key, people don't want them unless it's an incredible deal.
