EPL Teams to Follow

They're very well organized, throughout the pitch. They have a really, really solid back 5, helped enormously by the addition of Alderweireld in the summer, and the two fullbacks - Walker and Rose - are defensively very good and also great going forward, both are pacey. Dier and Alli (21 and 19 respectively) compliment each other really well in front of the back 4, with Dier playing a bit more of a holding role, winning the ball back, recycling possession, and Alli getting further up the field and involved in attacks (he scored this lovely goal the other week at home to Villa).

The front 4 - now typically Eriksen, Lamela, Dembele, and Kane - are energetic, fluid, and well-drilled. Eriksen excels centrally, but he and Dembele especially interchange really well, and Dembele is very dangerous running at defenders with the ball from central positions. Kane has finally got back into the goals, but his runs and movements have been consistently great since last season, and as many will (or at least should) tell you, he's an incredibly intelligent striker. Lamela's transformation under Pochettino is probably the most impressive, as he's gone from a poncey flair player to a very hard-working, disciplined asset to this Spurs team, putting in tackles (perhaps a bit recklessly sometimes), winning the ball back for his side, picking out great passes, etc.

I find them very very enjoyable to watch. Here's a good tactical writeup of the North London Derby from last weekend from Michael Cox (Zonal Marking): http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/michael-cox-how-arsenal-failed-get-grip-midfield-against-spurs#:X2FQQEemcmx_bA
