Have you ever cut yourself as a result of lock failure?

I cut myself with dull slipjoint knives regularly, back when slipjoints were 95% of the folding knives around ('60s-'70s). Then I got a lockback, and have relied on them for the last ~50 years with no problems. I never bought a frame, liner, compression, or axis lock until a few months ago. I can attest to the desirability of locks, and that the lockbacks I've owned have served faithfully, but can't offer any personal insights into how reliable other sorts of locks may or may not be.

I'd also add that I use fixed blade knives for anything very intense, and see no reason to change that. My usage habits make me relatively worthless for purposes of this survey.
