Poor Clare. There's only so long you can deflect from making a commitment with "we're just figuring things out" before those words start to ring really hollow. The right person for you knows what they want from you, will want to put a label on it, and won't try to keep you in the "we're together, but we're not labeling it" phase. They were ENGAGED a few months ago, and now she's stuck in situationship land with the guy. Every girl in the world who's dated a guy for six months/done all the bf/gf things with him without having THE conversation, only to finally force the convo and find out he never had any intention of being your boyfriend knows this feeling.
