OP is asking for a solution but setting parameters that result in no solution, so they NEED TO HEAR that their only options are replace the drive or destroy the array and rebuild from scratch.

And if they can’t get a drive to replace, what makes you think they can get one to make a backup to rebuild the pool from scratch?

They need a new drive—whether they use it to back up their data to rebuild with 4 drives or to fix the 5-drive array—either way: their constraint of “can’t get a new drive” can’t possibly apply. If they want their data, they have have to.
