Extremely skinny and looking for the quickest way to gain weight

Yeah I know it is going to be a journey, can’t expect anything to happen fast and if I do, I need to stay consistent for that to happen. Consistency is where I fall short but I have started to meal plan to make up for it a bit, which is why I’ve been eating eggs/beans/rice a lot as it’s quick to cook/healthy. Glad you mentioned the calories and fact I don’t have to stuff my face to eat enough calories as that’s usually what I think of gaining weight. Constantly stuffing yourself, but you’re right if I find more calorie dense foods, I won’t need to. It will also help refrain from making myself feel nauseous or like gagging if I’m not basically forcing myself to eat more. It seems so hard to find calorie dense foods without it being pretty unhealthy though! I used to eat 4 poptarts daily for an easy 800 calories but I don’t think I can do that anymore haha. I also used to eat chocolates/chocolate spreads that gave like 200 calories from a tbsp, but that’s extremely unhealthy. Now I’m trying the basics like peanut butter shakes, yogurt, etc. Any recommendations on calorie dense foods?

I’ve also used the MyFitnessPal app before and it is great, I will definitely get back on it to see where I am at with my food intake. Thanks for the advice and congrats on the sobriety!
