Facial hair and hair - video vs. new sketch

I think the appearance in the video does come across as having a little stubble opposed to a bushy beard or neatly maintained go-tee. It could also be dirt or shadows.

Going with the stubble assumption, to me stubble means that the face is usually clean shaven and has just been neglected for a few days, so showing a clean shaven face would be beneficial for identification of the sketch, if it is in fact stubble.

From my observations, usually when a guy takes a little hiatus from his personal grooming routine it is because he has been sick, depressed, or on a bender. Once he bounces back, a clean shaven baby face appears from the shadows!
