Female[orgasm trouble] co worker claims 90% of women do not orgasm from sex

As others have pointed out, that's not the case and it was likely remembering something else incorrectly. However, we're also told that women can "easily" have multiple orgasms. In reality, IIRC, it's about 15% of women who can have multiple orgasms, which might sound nice but it's about the same percent of men who can do that too. (Though, admittedly, in men multiples tends to mean exactly twice, whereas in women there's many more with multiples meaning three or more times.) But pair that with the percent of women who have never orgasmed (something in the 10-20% range).

One thing I think should be noted as far as cunnilingus goes is that many younger women are not comfortable with the act. We still seem to teach people that sex is something a woman lets a man do, or that it's to please a man. So, when someone buys into that and is given pleasure without the man getting anything they can feel bad. Or maybe they have a body image issue. On top of that, younger women tend to be having sex with younger men who don't really know what they're doing - even to the point that some people think a man interested in pleasing a woman at all is noteworthy. For those reasons, which seem to affect women more than men, it may be that some women don't feel comfortable with receiving oral sex until much later in life. I'm partially basing this on some women I know who have said that they enjoy receiving oral sex more now than they did when they were younger (specifically body image and partner skills here).

And the idea that women use sex to "gain something" is simply manipulative. (To be fair, denying anyone sex until they do some unrelated task for you or submit to your wishes is manipulative and not a healthy behavior and either gender can do this.)
