Filipinos who migrated, do you regret it? Why or why not?

I came here in US for advanced degree, which I attained several years ago. After graduation, I was able to get a job and has been working eversince. I have been here for more than 10 years. However, I feel that I have not been living my life. Yeah, I am not happy here. Probably because of the nature of my job as it has this survive or perish culture. Getting a tenure is stressfull. Also I thought it's easier to find a partner here. I am wrong! I have never dated anyone here. Being a guy makes it more difficult because pinays prefer white males.. I am just waiting for this semester to end and I already inform the head of our dept that I am not renewing my contract. I am excited to go back home to start a new life in the province. Agterall, I prefer to be in a farm than in big cities.
