Film Production: Advanced or Honours Degree Program

Hey guys, thanks for the replies.

In high school I wasn't the most social person; I kinda regret that now. I never looked to meet other filmmakers cause I was actually set on going into engineering until I decided to do something I actually love within a few months of graduating. That's why I'm thinking a film program would be a good outlet to network.

There's also another tidbit I think I should've mentioned: I don't plan on sticking around in Ontario. I kinda fell in love with Vancouver and and prospects over there at the west end, considering it's north of LA. I know I might be getting too far ahead of myself, but I'm determined to get there. I also want to attend VFS to network there; but considering the fact that I'd be going to college here I don't know if it's a good idea. It's a hefty price tag and I don't even know if it's necessary to do both. I heard VFS is a place to hone a skillset and I think Humber's 3 year will give me just that; I could save up some money here and then make the leap to the other end.

If- or more likely when- I go there after college I'd be leaving my network here for a frsh start and maybe even spending more than I should be. I know I'm young and have years to waste networking and building experience; but i don't want to waste too many years AND struggle with debt (deep dark fear of the troubled young mind). I'll probably have to accept that; but it's still a predicament.

Thanks for the advice though.
