Flat black spots on majesty palm. Normal or sick? Plant seems to be doing ok otherwise? Extra info in comments

My plant (Majesty Palm) seems otherwise doing okay I think, but recently I noticed these very small black dots. I’m not sure if they have always been there. Is this normal? Is it infected with a bug or disease?

It was getting medium to bright indirect light from a south facing window. I moved it the other day to a different location in my house because of the spots to keep an eye on it. Now it is receiving medium natural light in combo with a grow light.

I have not seen anything moving and no raised bumps on the plant, but the thought of pests or any kind of infection that can spread to other plants makes me nervous

I have not repotted it since I bought it a few weeks ago.

Blue lid thing is a water tray for humidity (edges), and I water when the soil is almost dry, but not quite.

As a newer majesty palm owner, I’ve only recently read that majesty palms are not recommended to keep indoors & can decline very quickly... but I already bought it before I realized that, so if anyone has any insight, I’d be grateful!
