Finance question

Semper Fi, brother.

This is my first post since returning last April. Did four years as a Marine. My mom is Ukrainian and my dad is Russian.

I spent about a month as soon as shit hit the fan. I speak Russian, and had no issues crossing the border since some family is over there.

Even as a Russian speaker who had an easy time communicating, it was still very challenging. REALLY consider what you’re doing. PM if you want to talk, but I’m just looking out for you, devil dog.

Ask yourself why you’re going. Even with relatives over there, a rich family background in regards to Ukraine (moms side came over in 93 - they lived through all the wars, famine, concentration camps, and Chernobyl) I still felt as if it wasn’t my war to fight.

I didn’t join the foreign legions as I didn’t really have to. I won’t get specific, but were on the southern front.

I advise you not to go. I’m still dealing with some PTSD, but mostly, guilt for worrying my family and friends.
