First build ($700 range)

You'll want a better processor than a $40 amd, even if you are running a discreet gpu. I would suggest this, it might be too expensive, but you have plenty of ram to play anything, the 960 is a great efficient card, and the i3 should be powerful enough to play most games for the years to come. You can always downgrade to a G3258 but it might struggle more in games.
