the ISG is the most economic PVE weapon in the game.

you forget the 20 guns lost because some bambi pressed E instead of q to enter the gun and accidentally disassembled it and doesnt know or understand that its an emplacement weapon and cant pic up the gun (especially if the gun was loaded, it doesnt show up in their screen to press v because of the dropped item 30mm) doesnt know to press b to build the emplacement, doesnt know that he needs to place the tripod first... and a long list of etc.

wardens get free isgs and most of the collie player base doesnt use them anymore, or if they do, they find it has been misteriously unpacked and half the gun is missing when they come back from getting ammo.

also it tends to randomly despawn inbetween deaths, and the alts problem is so bad and morale is so low that frontlines have become extremely toxic to the point that if someone starts gesturing me with a gun i pretend my mic died, so they leave me alone. (typing takes more time and people tend to not lose their shit in writing where people can read and downvote)

also tanks rarely coordinate with players so your field engineer gets a tank shell in the face and there go 300 bmats, and if the wardens dont steal them, bambis do, to build absolutely horrible trenches that later on block building other useful defences or block friendly guns.

a friend tried to help bambis do a crash course in the colonial home region, but you teach 2-3 new players in 20 minutes while the chat is like "x has fallen, y is falling, we need reinf at z, we are losing"

jumped ship to shard 1 after getting ignored by the whole faction when i told them our flank was exposed and wardens had a free road to great march. 4 people responded, like 20 minutes later, while a shitload of people were fighting in a front right beside the open road, not listening to a single chat or map post. oh and also demanding shirts and blaming logi while partisans snipe and blow trucks literally less than 100m from the frontline.

this has happened several times, you do recon, find a staging area/open front, tell the whole server to QRF before its too late and like 2 people answer, and they go to sleep like 5 minutes later.

and everyone spams f in chat, and keeps running into a wall.

its frustrating, and while it does happens too in shard 1 sometimes, people seem less... hostile, at the prospect of being told they are doing things wrong. i told a 4 team clan that they needed to coordinate with infantry and warn when they were retreating, and instead of being called some asterisks, they actually did it, at least before they went to sleep and the entire front i was fortifying fell because it was night and people went to push from the side rather than where we actually had defenses.

got mad, went there and to my surprise shit was actually bad enough that it warranted not wanting to leave, while in shard 2 it would regularly happen that people would push and push and push and blame logi and when you look at the map you realize the dumbasses pushed themselves into a technical encirclement.

basically, using ISG requires nerves of steel because you are also fighting against your own team. people will regularly take your shit when you are not looking and waste it, or just take it while you are playing, or start hoarding the fuck out of valuable stuff and then yell in the chat that this game is communist (yes. it did happen.) because you cant hoard stuff.

last war 212 built the meme base and then this shard they switched sides, then another regiment was found to be hoarding vehicles and ACs full of resources and ammo, stuff that was needed, and shooting any one that got close to their stuff. i got shot for trying to help light a fire to unfreeze their vehicles.

not 5 minutes later i found another clan's stash. didnt tell in chat because morale is low already. every 5 mintes someone comes saying "we are losing the war arent we?" or something like that and that shit makes you not want to play. i 100% think they are warden alts because they never do anything else, they just pop in and say that shit and make everyone sad and then leave. i have many times just turned off chat (selecting whispers only) and that was what kept me in the shard for as long as it did, but when player count went to shit after rumours spread that collies in shard 1 were winning, it became impossible to enjoy any sort of frontline combat.
