Hey, I just saw your post on SeikoMods and felt like reinstating my locked reddit account just to say this. I don't know what's become of this subreddit lately, but it seems a bunch of snobs are being nasty on here over logos and brand heritage or something or other. They try to delineate between fake, frankenwatch, homage, blah blah and don't seem to enjoy or appreciate the creative process behind picking parts, branded or otherwise, and assembling them into something new.

The fact that all I saw in your post's comments were petty jabs and downvotes on your very first mod is disgusting to me. Being that this subreddit is the only relevant place to post creations like yours, people have no business putting you down just because the dial you like came with a gs logo.

I personally love seeing fluted bezels and jubilee bracelets (I'm wearing one right now). I think the other redditors don't like green. Don't let the feedback on your post discourage you from this hobby. For a first mod, I think your watch looks great and 99.9% of people don't give a shit what's on your wrist so just wear what you prefer.
