Not really , Ive been playing guitar for some years now , he can’t even play simple strumming parts sometimes , he lacks even confidence in his playing , just check their live performances , and watch how drew played dark horses , and then him , he gets a lot of stuff wrong , he is just average at best , and most people I talked to about this also think the same way , he is not a very good guitarist at all , and doesn’t have a great tone and creative sound like drew had , just watch some of the other songs too , I know people want to support the band , but you can’t argue with facts , he can play okay , but that not what switchfoot needs now …
