For anyone else who PAID taxes in 2018-19 and kept getting Payment status not available. It FINALLY cleared.

I was given a small refund in 2018. Filed thru H&R with no fees deducted, direct deposit. I filed on 4-4-20 this year thru Credit Karma and owed a small amount. Paid immediately. Ever since I filed in 2019 my return has been stuck on processing and the get my payment tool have been giving me the dreaded 'No info available'. This morning I checked the Get My Payment tool and IT FINALLY WORKED! Even though i was owed a refund in 2018, i still had to enter my DD info. The interesting part is my 2019 tax refund status shows still processing, although the DD info I input into Get My Payment wanted my 2019 AGI and tax information. I'm glad that I've finally seen some progress. I'm also fuming pissed that it seems like most the information we've been fed from the IRS is bullshit. The portal has been having obvious issues from the beginning. Whatever. Now I just get to wait and see how many more weeks it'll take before I actually have a deposit in my account. Please tax God.... just let it be for the correct amount!!
