To get a test, you still need to have confirmed contract trace AND be showing symptoms. How incredibly far are we away from accurate numbers?

Not sure if this is on topic, but the lab I've gone to a few times on my own dime recently emailed me about their antibody test now being available for $169. The LabCorp on Executive and Hardy Cash (just west of the Sentara Hospital on Coliseum) here on the peninsula is where I got previous tests, and it seems they also do the antibody test.

Early on during this thing I had a week of on-and-off early-stage flu like symptoms (fever, aches, sore throat), but it never got serious (which is typical for me during flu season). Very likely not COVID-19 exposure, but I am kinda curious, so I just might sign up and hop over one day for the blood draw.
