Being a sports fan can be very hard sometime. And being a Habs fan can be even worse. When you have your father and uncles talking about all the cups they have seen and how great the Habs when you, yourself have never even seen a conference final. The team was shit for so long and the around years ago we all realized it was becoming the best team we had in a long long while. The cup was getting closer. At least as close as it has ever be for us at least. But then some of your best elements don't get any younger. And some amazing players are drafted by other teams who are already starting to be good. And the other titans stay as strong or almost. You try to be positive and optimistic. We might have our bad moments but we are a contender. And then we can't win against the best teams and our number one goalie does not shine as bright as he used to. You don't have any blue chip prospects. Is our window closing? Was it ever opened? Sorry I am a bit stoned but I can't be the only one sharing some of those thoughts am I?
