Men, who wants to model for me: NO! In fact, in my personal photography projects, I'm specifically and exclusively photography East Indian and Middle-Eastern men. In order to have your chances of professional modeling in the real world, e.g. getting paid and being shot for high-end editorials, you do have to look like "marketable." Which means...look up the current trend on models.com under their "Top...." category. Those looks for men and women are the current in trend. With modeling, Heidi Klum said it best, "Your in at one time and before you know it, you're out" [paraphrased]. Models who are entering the fashion industry have their backup plan once their shelf life expire. Men like the famous David Gandy are extraordinary exceptions, where he's modeling past his prime. Models' shelf-life is 25 years old.
I hope you find my reply insightful and helpful. One of my male models, e.g. My Photography Muse is a mix between Black and White. He starred on Devious Made and was cast in several commercials and music videos, e.g. Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, etc.
