I’m discouraged :/

What helped me was focusing on being active rather than a specific number on a set of scale.

I tried to make sure I walked every day and ate better. I already go to gym a bit but I certainly have a few kgs I can lose. I started reading in coffee shops just to get out and about. Socially caught up with friends for a walk rather than grabbing food with them to eat. But ultimately I just wanted to be more active. The change in my body shape kind of followed.

My point being live the life you want to live not the life a set of scales or an app tells you to. Your confidence will grow and you will probably find those areas you want to improve either change too or you'll realise they aren't actually that important after all
