Exactly.

Understand that children are a political prop for Republicans. That is what is going on here. They are weaponising fake concern for children to push whatever anti-gay or anti-woman agenda of the week and they don't give a shit about children when it actually comes down to it.

I also sense there's a deflection in it. It's easily observable tbh that the vast majority of violent crime, child grooming, domestic violence, sexual harassment and rape in literally any fucking society globally is committed by straight men.

There's just something about the pathology of a significant number of them that brings this behaviour out. Part of me wonders if these particular straight men who have this pathology genuinely think and fear that most gay men and also women have brains that are wired the same depraved way theirs are, and that's why they're obsessed with painting us as engaging in the same behaviours. (which occasionally gay men and women do, let's be real, we are not 100% innocent either). Instead of looking inwards and actually challenging other straight men to be better men (which some do but not enough).

I don't wanna hear any "NoT AlL StRaIgHt MeN!" in response to this, because we know that, we know there's good straight men who genuinely have empathy and morals. We also know that there are unfortunately gay pedophiles and violent women. So don't accuse me of being absolutist and arguing this isn't the case.
