To makes the things a bit clearer than 3 captures of a discord, we posted early July an "unfinished" quick look into our project on Reddit. Some people found the renders was looking a bit too much like a Keycult No.2 to their liking. Also, we didn't had the time to work on a proper logo at this moment, so we borrowed a design found on Google as our logo.

Then, some people who probably likes drama way more than keyboards started streaming at "stealing", etc. It's apparently a crime to test and publish some renders.

Remember it was not an IC but just a quick view of our keyboard; the whole project was changing a lot by this time (we probably tested as far as 12 logos from the start to now).

Time have passed, and after a few more hundred hours of work, we put our final project in IC in December, but this time without sharing the "steps", due to this incident.

Our mistake was to think everybody in this community was nice and willing to discuss around a project. During this time, we found fantastic people we chatted with, and also discovered a lot of drama queens. At least, we have quite a few names in mind of people we will never work with :-)

Well, at the end, this story is enough to have a few toxic people following our Reddit posts, and trying to "ruin" our image, maybe forever ? Time will tell.

Oh and BTW, the Typemaster font was been handmade from scratch
