Which company has the most reprehensible customer service you've ever experienced?

Vodafone.

Sent me a phone that wouldn't connect to a network at all.

Took it into the shop. They said I'd broken it. I tried to point out that literally all I'd done was boot the phone up and try to connect to the network. No joy.

First Vodaphone shop refused to admit there was an issue. After I stood with them fucking around and trying to fix it for close to an hour, I got chatting to an old lady who was waiting to be seen. Explained what had happened to her and they kicked me out of the shop for "putting customers off using us" hahaha

Went to the other shop in town. Eventually after nearly 30 minutes of incompetence, agreed that - fuck it, I needed a phone - could they send it away for repair? They agreed and took it away. No courtesy phone though I found out later I should have been given one.

After three weeks hearing nothing, went back to the shop to be told they'd lost it in the factory. Guy behind the counter gave me a brand new one. Fine. Fixed. Whatever.

Obviously hadn't been best pleased with the experience so when my contract ended I tried to end the contract, only for them to charge my bank account 6 more times. Every time I rang up they apologised and refunded me and said "really sorry, it won't happen again" - but it did. Every single time. £30 compensation was deemed appropriate for the absolute pain in the arse.

I'll never use them again. Never had any hassle whatsoever with O2.
