Ghost Hunting Class This Thursday or Next!

This sounds really fun and I would be all over it, but $30 is just too steep for me. $20 is the absolute most I would do, especially considering - depending on traffic - up to 1/4 of the advertised 2-hour event will be eaten up traveling from North Lakes to Old Alton. Unless Beck/Becky has a van capable of holding the (assumed) 10 people in the class plus herself and her equipment, people will need to take their own vehicles and not even be able to interact with the instructor en route.

That said, the wording in the link you posted is unclear:

Learn where to search for ghosts, how to use inexpensive equipment for your investigations, and how to analyze your evidence. After completing this class, see what skills you have learned with an real life investigation at a haunted location. $10 ghost hunts are to scheduled and paid for directly through the instructor.

Does this mean the $30 is for a 2-hour lecture at North Lakes, then another $10 straight to the instructor to visit Old Alton with the privilege of their company? If so, then absolutely not. A: because it's a blatant money grab, and B: if the class is worth it's salt I should have the basic skills required to acquire my own "inexpensive equipment" and visit a location I am already closely familiar with.

Hell, while I don't believe in the mumbo-jumbo I'm certainly a fan of the spirit and retelling of legends, lore, and the supernatural. Going on a "professionally-lead" ghost hunt of a prominent local landmark with a crisp autumn nip in the air is 100% right up my alley.

I'm sorry to say this. Truly. I appreciate the efforts of the Parks system here, which is why I feel compelled to explain this to you. My nonparticipation is a direct result of unclear marketing and apparent lack of organization (thanks to unclear marketing?) for an event costing a nontrivial amount of money. I hope this criticism has at least been constructive.
