Glockstore took two years to build this! (Story in the comments)

This is not to be used to slander the Glockstore, it's employees or Mr. Magill. Only to share my personal experience.

I sent my 48 to the Glockstore not too long after picking it up on the original release date. Around the beginning of July 2018 well before Covid. After being impressed by their custom work after seeing it in person in San Diego I emailed back and forth with their custom department about what I wanted to accomplish, sending drawings I made to give context and more detail, and working out some minor issues I was told in October of 2018, and I quote, "Your emails were so descriptive and precise that we literally have ZERO questions for you as to what work we needed to perform so BRAVO to you for being so clear on your end. Thats a breath of fresh air!"

At the time Kate was in charge of the custom department and has since left Glockstore.

I was willing to give them extra time so Mr. Magill could make a video to show off what his team could do.

After more emails back and forth with Kate into December 2018, I hear nothing until May 2020. I am informed operations were shut down mid-March 2020 due to Covid restrictions in California. I am very patient and understanding and give them the benefit of the doubt during their local and national craze.

After some unanswered emails, in July 2020 I hear from a fellow named Thomas. Just a generic email regarding my slide cut design needing approval. We email back and forth several times in that same day and then nothing. Again...

Mid-September 2020 I have some luck getting someone on the phone by bypassing the system and calling the designers desk who worked on my slide. He puts me in touch with someone at customer service who changes out my red dot at my request. The designer and customer service both inform me I am the OLDEST job on their books. (And no one ever calls or reaches out via email)

I finally get the update proofs at the end of September 2020 and approve them so the can begin work after all this time.

I reach out again mid-December 2020 for an update and they tell me the slide is done and sent out for NP3 refinishing.

I get a phone call in January 2021 asking me if I still want the TLR6 due to the trigger guard rounding making it not stay flush on the frame. I call back a could hours later as I thought I had already changed that to a double undercut nearly two years ago.

It isn't until February 2021 that I get the custom shop Manger Alex on the phone and in emails. I explain the situation to him and spend two hours pouring over old email records and phone calls giving him proof that they should have never rounded my trigger guard and they could not procure a threaded barrel for an invoice from July 2018. This is where they decided to give up.

The first offer they made me was to return my gun as is and remove the aftermarket parts and refund me for everything except the custom work that was done. Not complete the custom case graphic I specifically designed. Not make the two custom holsters I needed to fit with the comp that was supposed to go on the end of this 48.

I promptly refused and tried my best to find a way for them to complete the build as I had requested. They sited the barrel as impossible to get even though I told them the time frame is basically moot at this point.

Alex kept working with me and eventually had to go to Mr. Magill to resolve this.

I want to thank him for his patience and hard work resolving this. It is not exactly what either of us wanted but the team delivered a great product. I can report no issues with anything after a solid range day. The craftsmanship and quality of parts have delivered me something I can use well and enjoy.

Just sharing my customer service experience over the last two years here in a friendly manner. Covid, California, employee turnover and opening a new store in Nashville aside some of the things I had to deal with on the customer service end were unacceptable but ultimately resolved in a positive way.

I use Glockstore parts in all my guns and have yet to report any failures personally. Their custom shop does amazing work and pre-covid turnaround time on parts were as quick as any other online retailer.
