Yes, but who has better quality control and durability? Who currently has a contract with the military? …Trijicon. I own a 509T, but I’ll always trust my RMR wayyyy more. In my opinion, Holosuns are wallet friendly optics and are for people who’re new to the optic game. It makes a good starter optic until you feel comfortable enough using a red dot and want to buy something more robust.
Sorry, but I’ll always choose the more reputable company for my tools. (That’s just how I feel so don’t get angry.) If Trijicon’s products suits the standards for military use or law enforcement, then it’s just as good for civilian use. They have a good reputation for a reason….and even though their products are always in high demand, they never resolve to using more inferior materials just to get them out for the consumer.
