I believe, what Odell does totally has an affect on other players. Have you ever played football? It's about momentum and swagger and focus.

I never played this football but I earned quite some money with the other football. In my experience when things go wrong there often times is that one guy who is really upset. I don't know how many things I have seen kicked broken in my career. But what I can tell you is, there is no truth to wither that kind of behaviour helps or hurts a team. Sometimes it is the exact wakeup call the team needs. Sometimes it probably gets into the player's heads.

As for on field antics: There are times when leaders commit a rough foul because the team has not shown up yet. Some bodying and pushing later the team is finally fired up. I understand that a penalty in football can kill the momentum and a drive, but I doubt that you can simply brand that behavior in only one way.

But I'd argue that there needs to be effort to keep him out of trouble right now, because it fits the narrative too much, which can hurt a team.
