Because the other side is just as bad. Unfortunately both parties work for big corporations and BANKS while pocketing $ to make the rich richer. Libertarian party is tiny compared to these monsters. Also Republicans, while more liberal nowadays, ties in closer with beliefs than the new democrat party. They're both 2 sides of the same coin and the founding fathers warned us about a 2 party system. The more people wake up about this corrupt establishment, the quicker we can vote these people out. Also, a vote nowadays anywhere other than D or R is a waste. Pick the lesser of 2 evils.
