Found this at Panera Bread. Interested in what is going on here. Why are they asking for returning servicemen? Why the emphasis on benefits and "no boot camp"?

I mean, we are doing something about it though. We just live in a country where, while we can tell you what you should eat and how much exercise you should get, it's up to you to actually do that stuff. For a lot of people it's just easier to buy junk food and sit at home all day. Probably cheaper too, at least in the short term, which when you're struggling to get by is all you can afford to think about, literally.

The only way to fix the issue is education and a population who is actually willing to follow through with it. We're having issues getting people to get a vaccine during a pandemic. There's no way in hell a government initiative to "Make America Slim Again" that requires people to eat right and get off their ass is going to work and most people are too lazy to do it themselves.
