See my other comment further up. The person I responded to told me he grew up on a family farm and they had a clear distinction between pets and farm animals. Next thing you know, his posts were removed (also permanently banned I suppose?)my one post regarding buying from local family farms vs factory farms also deleted, and the permanent ban message sent to me.

My guess is one of the mods is an aggressive vegan who got triggered even contemplating any of it. Meanwhile, nowhere on the sub is there any rule regarding vegetarianism. Just that you must be an animal bro. Many people think sustainable farming, including meat eating, could be part of an animal bro’s worldview but even if there is any merit to that debate, apparently they would rather squash any reference. Mind you, we were not debating this at all really. These were just brief comments, shorter than this one.
