Why is reddit so anti-capitalist ?

The problem too, is that I feel like they are confronted with this reality that some other majors/careers fields pay way more or have more job openings than theirs, and so they conclude that there must be something fundamentally immoral or wrong with the way society is structured.

In reality, certain productive activities are literally just more in-demand by virtue of what human beings want/need in the world, and there is no reason why one should expect their super obscure or irrelevant major specialization to be subsidized by society so they can feel good about their life choices.

It would literally be the equivalent of me demanding to get paid for digging holes in my backyard and filling them back up because "it's hard"
