Tl;dr Landlord refused to make emergency repairs on 2/19, we filed ETRA and lost snow services immediately as retaliation. This was excused by property manager after he slandered me and claimed I made death threats. The repair costs the landlord incurred by waiting until the 22 to finish and repair damage plus extra damage that was incurred during the long cold weekend is 100 percent on him, his age and health matter not. The furnace was missing 5 years of service records. The cost of proper maintenance compared the cost of having to rip all the pipes out of vacant unit because of landlord negligence is GARGANTUAN. If you cannot maintain your rental property you have no right to profit of off it.
