hiya i was a guaranteed transfer student coming in from umass and my biggest piece of advice is to make sure that all the classes you’re taking freshman year will transfer over!! i’ve had other transfer friends give stories about how they had to retake general courses because BU wouldn’t accept them.

in terms of social life/settling in, most of my friends turned out to be transfer students, and that sense of solidarity is always comforting. but take your time to settle in the first semester — join a bunch of clubs, go to office hours and meet random people, i’d 1000% recommend FYSOP beforehand too!
