Guy teaches police officers about the law

I dropped out of high school with a 0.8 GPA. I have ADHD, I was the newspaper editor, everything else could fuck itself because it was boring. I passed the GED test, started working as a web developer. Then I just wound up as a senior, then as a manager. I’m 39, everyone else is 26, especially in web development, and QA. I’m just the adult in the room and automatically wind up some kind of manager at every small to medium company I’ve been at. I manage 10-20 people. If I went to work at Disney, maybe they’d put 80 people under me. They’re professionals and they do their work, it doesn’t take a lot of effort for me to “manage” 10 people. Approve vacation requests, 5 hours a week for 1:1s, 5 hours a week for hiring, and then just being who people turn to when something is a problem. I get 30 hours left to do my own development work.

My mom never finished her bachelors but got promoted to an executive eleven, and started to go down the track of getting the Executive MBA at the nearby college. It’s for people like her, older, working professionals who can fast-track their MBA. The college loves these students because the students love these students, because they are -already- executives at big companies. It’s a win win.

Anyway, anyone who knows a little bit about software development and MBAs is not going to balk at your claim. Anyone else is internet.
