Meninism is about women too (why there is no need for a female rights movement)

I was not saying I have a better solution. Just that if nobody does, maybe we shouldn't keep throwing sand at each other.

I can see why I wasn't fully understanding your analogy before. I did not experience feminism claiming to help men as anything like physical violence, as I am not a man. I didn't understand the frequency or volume of these assaults as I didn't live them, and because it was never me throwing the sand I never saw any of these other attempted solutions. My problems with feminism claiming to help my gender were much different than the ones experienced by the users of this subreddit. I still have them, yet they may be very difficult for a group of mens rights people to understand so I won't get into how feminism hurt me, as a woman here.

So if we take your adjusted version of my adjusted version of your analogy, have we created something we can both understand yet?

The analogy would start to become more appropriate if the bully throws sand in the eyes of every other kid he comes across, and does that daily for years, and the kids who get sand in their eyes ask him to stop but he refuses, and then finally one day someone he threw sand at throws sand back into his eyes. Except it's more like a million bullies in a gang and one victim doing it to one of them.

I kinda think that's how feminism got itself into this position to begin with, by throwing sand instead of trying to come to come common ground, but that happened so long ago that it's not relevant at all anymore. I think this strategy has done nothing but make it harder for both sides to see the other's point of view.

Would that make him stop? I don't know, but well, it might, or at least might force him to reflect, and I can't very well fault the one who goes to that step when everything else failed.

I really don't think it would. But I guess I understand where the difference of opinion is between me and mensrights now. I used to feel like I belonged here but I don't anymore. I am already unsubscribed. I am only responding you still because you were the only one who used reason and logic to try to engage me and help me understand why I was bothered enough to respond to this thread, and I wanted to let you know I appreciate it still.
