Yes, I did look at it indeed. I don't have to explain anything about me to you, but I'll just say my whole family is full of people who studied anatomy and medicine, so I suppose doctors and nurses know what the anatomy looks like and no, this is not right. I can see it better without the skirt now, but that still doesn't change the fact that the right thigh would be weird. Of course it's fine within the realm of anime art, but so are other things that just don't make sense in normal human anatomy. Just because someone's an artist and are studying anatomy to be good doesn't mean someone random doesn't have the knowledge. And before you say that it's my family, not me... I've read most of their books, because I was genuinely interested in it. I'm not saying it's not a good art, I like it, just the anatomy is slightly off. I wouldn't draw it better, in fact it would look horrible, but you're so damn focused on defending the artist and the art that you can't see what others see.
