My father had a similar kind of premonition.

When I was a kid (like 12 of 13) we lived with my family on my grandmother's house. One day, my father dreamed about my grandfather (that passed away a few years before that) driving his white Fiat Duna car, with my brother on the company front seat and then having an accident.

The day after, at like 3pm, we were working on a little kids swimming pool on the backyard, and needed a few materials to finish it. We decided to go for them at a place near home. My father was driving the car, and me and my brother were sitting in the backseat.

As we were going there, we saw a distant car, driving on the wrong side of the road, almost crashing other cars (as if the driver was drunk), and it was moving more and more towards our car. When the other car was so close, my father had to dodge to the right of the street, saving us from a frontal crash. I dont know how to say it but, the other car touched our car's left side and made a super sharp and loud screech, as it would have destroyed the doors and handles.

We were in shock. We stopped the car and first checked if we all were okay (Luckly, nothing physically happened to us, just a scare), then we got out of the car to see how bad was the damage on its left side. IT WAS INTACT.

We drove home, my father told my mother what happened, but years later he told me and my brother about the dream that he had. We kind of took it in the family as if my grandfather protected us from a car accident.
