Lol first statement is wrong. They updated fps boost for many games and in the future MANY will be at 120fps when they cut out old gen and only optimize for current

Sure, but they are still 150-200 bucks. Spending that much just to use it with a console that doesn't even cost 290 bucks is a lot. In that price range you will get a TN panel, no HDR, no HDMI 2.1, and terrible or no sound compared to a TV.

And most TV's are not capable of 120. That's very rare and far more expensive than getting a monitor. In fact many tvs claim they can do 120 fps but CANT. they can only sort of "upscale" to 120fps which the xboxs don't recognize as running 120fps.

This is just old information. You can buy 120Hz TV's with HDMI 2.1 and HDR10 (something monitors in that price range don't provide often) for as low as 400 dollars now.

And that part about upscaling is just wrong. 120Hz is 120Hz, which any device will recognize as such.

Upscaled 1080p to 4k on my LG OLED55C16LA TV looks way better than native 1440p on my LG UltraGear 32GN650 monitor. Simply because the TV has a much better engine, panel, and HDR.
