I liked Wes so much better with Lilah. I really wish we’d gotten the chance to see where that went. They had a great Batman/Catwoman dynamic. But man, was he a bastard sometimes.

I mean sure, it was Lilah. But Wes still chose to sleep with her- REGULARLY. That means he no longer had the moral high ground. You can’t claim yourself to be flea proof when you regularly choose to lie down with dogs.

That’s why I never thought Lilah was out of line when she hit back. The difference being, she would insult him on a personal level. Wes loved mental warfare that was much crueler. He said things specifically to mess with Lilah’s self-esteem, which just made the comments gross. (Like when he told her to leave the glasses on as “Fred.”)
