You may have noticed that I did not initially continue my education after graduating highschool in 2010. I often contemplate that decision and wonder if it was for the best. Many of my fellow 2010 classmates are currently finishing their final semester of achieving their bachalors degree, while I still have a long way to go . This can sometimes be discouraging espicially when surrounded by peers. However, I like to believe that I was not ready for college after high school and that in the two and a half years after graduating that i grew expinentially as a man and as a future student. I spent those years working as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS/Pharmacy. I was content with my job however after a couple of years working there, I noticed that there is not much room for growth and eventually I will need to start providing for a family of my own. The summer of 2012 is when I came to this realization. I reached a low point in my life, my life trajectory seemed bleek. I began to think myself into negative moods and was not satisfied with the way my life was turning out. It was during this period that I realized i needed to go back to school and pursue a degree to help put me on a path to success. I started taking classes at NOVA in January of 2013 not only was I now focused on succeeding in school, something I never cared about, It brought me happiness. These past two years at NOVA have been a wonderful experience and as I am finishing my last few months here I would love to be able to continue my education at George Mason as it is a reputable school. I was able to visit the campus this past summer and enjoyed the campus. I hope you will consider me as someone worthy of being a future student at Mason.
